Controlling Your Information: When managing your workshop profile, login, then go to the Website menu and select “My Courses.” Click the “Edit Profile” link.
When you opt to join our mailing list (Authors’ Club), if at a later time you wish to change your participation in our mailing list, you may opt-out by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the most recent email, or sending an e-mail through our Contact page, stating that you would like to be removed from our mailing list. You will receive confirmation that we have received your communication.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998 as well as the GDPR rules effective May 25, 2018. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, you can either click “Update Your Preferences” at the bottom of our Authors’ Club newsletters, edit your profile in the “Workshops” section of our website, or send an email through our Contact page.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please update your information either by clicking “Update Your Preferences” at the bottom of our Authors’ Club newsletters, editing your profile in the “Workshops” section of our website, or contact us as soon as possible through our Contact page. If you wish to have your data deleted from our Authors’ Club newsletter database or our workshops users, please contact us as soon as possible through our Contact page. We will promptly remove your information. We can not delete every email exchange, website comment, or other digital exchanges beyond what is in our mailing list database or the user profile in WordPress for our workshops. Contracts, data stored in PayPal.com, or data used in relation to paid-for business transactions that you’ve completed with AOAD will NOT be deleted, as that information is needed for (and will only be used for) tax/business/legal purposes.
